The moon was sitting just above the pine trees that lined the lake, bathing everything it touched in its silvery light. A solitary boat drifted silently across the waters blackness leaving only the tiniest of ripples. Two people sat in the boat; they both had ivory skin that seemed to glow in the light, one was rowing while the other lay fast asleep under a thick woollen blanket.
